N-cyclohexylthiophthalimide (17796-82-6) is a white or off-white powder. Soluble in acetone, benzene, toluene, ethyl ether, ethyl acetate, hot carbon tetrachloride, hot alcohol, slightly soluble in gasoline. Insoluble in kerosene and water.

N-cyclohexyl thiophthalimide is also known as the scorching retarder, early curing inhibitor, anti-scorching agent CTP, anti-scorching agent PVI, under normal temperature for white, light yellow or light yellow brown crystal, and from the n-heptane recrystallized products for white crystal.
